Grocery List or pantry

The Fats: get cold pressed, organic oils if possible unrefined. 

Extra Virgin Olive Oil: make sure to use at room temperature or very low temperatures

Avocado Oil: Safe to use at high temperatures, and virtually no flavor to interrupt your meal.

Coconut Oil: Has a strong flavor try to keep to sweets, or maybe sautéed veggies.

Bacon Grease: This is one of my favorites to cook with! Won't clog arteries i SWEAR, use with egg it will rock your world!

Coconut Milk: gotta get canned promise its healthier more filling more yummy!

 

The Dairy Fats: Organic, Hormone free, Pasture raised, grass fed, no or low preservatives.

Heavy whipping cream: This is the holy grail of buttery creamy sauces and casseroles!

Cream Cheese: try this on some flackers, and with some salsa.. omg so yummy!!!

Sour Cream: Fajitas, chilli, enchiladas, casseroles, on a bagel.. options are endless!

Butter: Grass fed, Pasture raised, hormone and antibiotic free organic butter!

 

The cheeses: They get their own category because im obsessed

Tillamook Cheddar Cheese: Tillamook is just so much better flavor compared to anyone else. ( even though it isnt organic and all that) their pepperjack and habanero combo at costco is also amazing!

Mexican Cheese blend

Mozzarella Cheese

Parmesan Cheese Whisps: These go great on soups, used as crackers, as a snack, dipped in salsa... they're amazing!

Proteins: for ketogenic diet you WANT high fat meats.For ALL of these avoid hormones, Antibiotics, nitrates, and Secret Sugars. Try to find organic and grass fed for Beef,

Pepperoni avoid sugars, starchy flours, and preservatives.

Ham: avoid honey baked, and secret sugars!

Turkey/Chicken: is fine its just high protein low fat.

Duck: is high fat and really yummy for poutry catergory.

Sausage: breakfast patties, or sausage, bratwursts, hot dogs, polska kielbasa... and so on. Jimmy dean  And HEB are the only band I have found without corn syrup, sugars, dextrose etc, look for natural and ALWAYS double check the ingredients list.

Bacon

Chorizo

Beef: ground, steak, heart, liver, pretty much any part of the cow.

Lil Smokies: These are an easy tasty treat, and one of my favorites when I'm feeling lazy.. so pretty regular ha.

The fish: get wild caught, sustainable, avoid tilapia

Tid Bit* If it smells fishy its probably old and will not taste good.

Salmon: should be dark in color not washed out, unique flavor all its own. 

Halibut: very similar to chicken low flavor, absorbs surrounding flavors. If you have always been anti fish I would try this first!

Trout: Same as halibut, 

Herring and Kippers: experiment with different flavors, see what you like. 

Sardines: eat with flackers, with salsa, as you would eat a can of tuna. 

Mackerel: i find it yucky, you find a good recipe let me know. 

Anchovies: still working on an edible form of this.
